Welcome!

I've decided to start blogging once again. I've certainly slacked off in the past few years on my blogging, although I have made guest appearances on other's blogs. (Such as Wesley David's The Nubby Admin) 2013 already looks as though it'll be quite the adventure, and I'm definitely looking forward to it.

Starting February 18th I start my VMware Install and Configure vSphere 5.1 class through CCC&TI. I will complete the course March 21st and go on to take my VCP5 certification. I have also slacked on certifications, and have not completed one since my MCSA:2003 in 2010. Once I have VCP5 on the books, I will be moving onto my MCSE Server Infrastructure (2012) to bring me up to some more recent certifications. I've had both the CCNA and RHCSA/RHCE in mind for a few years, but we shall see how 2013 pans out and what roads it leads me down. Other than certifications, I plan to do blogging on current projects, technologies I am working with and possibly some career focused posts. I've been asked a lot recently how I managed to climb to the IT ladder as quickly as I have in just 5 years, and would like to consolidate it into one place for easy sharing.
